We're cooking up change!
Nutritious and Delicious Cookery Class 21 Sep 2011
Nutritious and Delicious Cookery Class 21 Sep 2011 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
ChangeKitchen (Fireside Building), 122 Pershore Street, Birmingham B5 6PAThis is for anyone wanting to get more ideas for improving their daily diet by cooking healthy, seasonal meals themselves. Birgit calls herself the ‘anti-celebrity chef’, as she believes anyone can learn to cook and everybody should be empowered to trust their own taste buds, use their creativity – and get cooking!
If you’re a gourmet who would like to learn more about this style of cooking or a vegan or vegetarian who needs some new ideas, or a parent who wants to find ways of putting a healthy meal in front of your children that they enjoy, without spending hours in the kitchen – then this course is for you!
The course is done in a participatory way, focusing and building on your existing knowledge.
We cook several meals together and share them at the end of the session. Everyone also gets to take home a portion to share with their friends and family.
£45 basic rate, £60 supporters rate. Anybody over 16 can attend.
